Indian Airforce Commands

The Indian Air Force has seven commands, 5 operational commands and 2 functional commands,these commands are headed by their AOC-in-C (Air Officer Commander-in-Chief) .The names of the commands their location and the AOC-in-C names are listed below:

1. Eastern Air Command which is at Shillong, headed by Air Marshal Anil Khosla
2. Western Air Command which is at New Delhi, headed by Air Marshal C Hari Kumar
3. Central Air Command which is at Allahabad, headed byAir Marshal KS Gill
4. Southern Air Command which is at Thiruvananthapuram, headed by Air Chief Marshal Dilbagh Singh
5. South-Western Air Command which is at Gandhi Nagar, headed by Air Mshl KD Singh
6. Maintenance Command which is at Nagpur, headed by Air Marshal Jagjeet Singh
7. Training Command which is at Bangalore, headed by Sridharan Panicker Radha Krishnan Nair
